₹2,000 funds a free screening

We believe early diagnosis can be the difference between life and death. Each comprehensive screening includes blood pressure, blood sugar, diabetes and vision tests. We prioritise elderly individuals who have been abandoned by their children, ensuring they receive the healthcare and dignity they deserve.

Frequently Asked Questions

We run two-day health camps that bring free check-ups—blood pressure, blood sugar, diabetes and vision tests—directly to people who can’t easily see a doctor. We even distribute a medicine kit. These beneficiaries are normally 60+ who have been abandoned by their children.

Each health camp lasts for 2-3 days

The health camp will begin after Diwali (October)

All workshops run in Basti District, Uttar Pradesh, at community-partner venues.

1. Identify Communities: We select villages or urban neighbourhoods with a high number of elderly who lack family support.

2. Local Partnerships: We team up with grassroots NGOs, social workers, and community volunteers who know the elders and can mobilize them to attend.

3. Mobile Health Camp Setup: Using a simple venue (school hall, community centre or shaded outdoor space), we bring portable screening kits and set up registration, testing and consultation stations.

4. Structured Screening Process

  • Registration: Volunteers record basic details (name, age, health history).
  • Vital Tests: Nurses or technicians measure blood pressure, blood sugar, diabetes risk and vision.
  • Data Logging: Results are logged on-site for follow-up.

5. On-Site Doctor Consultations: A medical doctor reviews each elder’s results immediately, offers advice, prescribes medicines or refers them to nearby clinics if needed. We prepare a medicine kit according to the doctor‘s instruction.

6. Follow-Up & Referrals: We share each elder’s details with local health centres and social services to ensure ongoing care and connection to government schemes.

Families learn about hidden health risks early, get treatment before problems get serious, and save on medical bills. This keeps communities healthier and gives people peace of mind.

₹2,000 covers the full cost to screen one person for all four tests plus the on-site doctor consult—making sure every rupee goes to real, life-saving care. It includes a free medicine kit as well.

You’re welcome to give any amount. Most donors choose ₹3,000, but every rupee helps us reach more beneficiaries in need.
