In today’s fashion-conscious society, fashion labels go a longway in disseminating information and awareness about a certain ideology. One’s apparels are often the first impression created and we, at Aapka Sahara Foundation understand that. It has a tendency of keeping the fashionable youth interested and even drives home a sense of pride and thrill of being associated with a certain branded fashion label. It would help the youth engage more with our proposition and would align well with the current fashion trends. It creates a sense of being included for the effort they put in and makes one strive harder towards the goal in question. This idea aims to keep the youth attached to our focus on elevating mental health struggles of the older population.
Besides the aforementioned, Fashion Labels help in creating an enticing display, tempting even others to purchase it and find themselves a part of something bigger than themselves. These sales would allow us to expand our own resources in providing relief to the elderly.We would utilize this inflow as a means to providing improved quantitative as well as qualitative means in our Medi-Camps and Therapies. It is only through this constant improvement can we inch forward towards providing a better future for the Aged. The Foundation’s many such attempts are entangled with a hope to expand our base by involving more and more of the younger generation who would in turn, act as carriers of our message of “Aapki Khushi, Humari Khushi”. Fashion Labels serve this purpose to the end by tempting a person’s family and friends into purchasing the same and allowing us to expand our resource base.
This increased income is what would help rejuvenate our attempts to make our elderly population happier, contented and fulfilled. It would provide us greater leeway in our ideas where ultimately, the aged are benefitted. It would act as a means to an end. Finally, it also helps expand the presence of the Foundation to encompass and collaborate with other such institutions/ NGOs where the intended effect would be doubled and more incorporating.
Thus, these aforementioned methods are a major part of the Foundation’s future and are what will shape our methods in the coming years. We believe that it would expand the Foundation’s presence and influence and bring us closer to achieving our aim i.e., greater mental support for the aged creating a happier aging population who can finally exercise their right of aging with grace and dignity.
